An Eve and an Adam – A rather naked choreographic duet.

This performance challenges societal norms by boldly introducing physical nudity on stage, offering a stark contrast to the distorted image prevalent on today's social media platforms. In an era where youth increasingly turn to digital spaces to showcase their bodies, the omnipresence and consumption of various forms of pornography in the media are undeniable.

Ironically, while virtual culture seemingly erases shyness regarding bodily nudity, a paradox emerges as children and young individuals express reluctance to shower after sports activities, citing modesty. Even as people of all ages diligently sculpt their bodies in gyms, there remains a discomfort with the notion of being exposed in the vulnerability of a shower.

This work seeks to prompt a critical reevaluation of our relationship with the authenticity and naturalness of bodily nudity. It challenges us to reconsider how we portray and perceive nudity in media culture. "An Eve and an Adam" is a deliberate invitation for profound contemplation on this thought-provoking subject.

En ret nøgen duet . . .

En forestilling der bogstaveligt sætter den virkelige nøgenhed i scene – som kontrast til den virtuelle !

Aktuelt ser vi i samfundet, at unge viser sig frem nøgne på sociale medier. Pornografi i alle afskygninger er let tilgængelig og forbruges i stor stil. Tilsyneladende findes blufærdigheden ikke mere, når det drejer sig om den nøgne krop i den virtuelle kultur.

Men samtidig bliver børn og unge fritaget for at gå i bad efter idræt i skolen. Unge mænd og kvinder dyrker deres krop i fitnesscentre, men de er for blufærdige til at vise sig nøgne i brusebadet bagefter. 
Vi har med andre ord brug for at få gentænkt vores forhold til kroppens naturlige nøgenhed og diskuteret vores fremstillingsformer af kroppens nøgenhed i mediekulturen.
